We are dedicated to preserving, promoting, and documenting the Tulu language, script, culture, and heritage through education, research, and community engagement. Our initiatives include Tulu script revival, cultural documentation, historical preservation, and advocating for Tulu’s official recognition.
Preservation of Tulu Language and Literature
- Conducting Tulu script teaching programs.
- Publishing and distributing books, manuscripts, and other resources.
- Advocating for Tulu's inclusion in the Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution as a recognized state language
Cultural Enrichment and Awareness
- Organizing workshops, festivals, and events to promote Yakshagana, Bhootha Kola, Pilivesha, and other traditional art forms.
- Publishing digital resources such as e-cards, calendars, and fonts to make Tulu culture accessible globally.
Protection of Historical Artefacts
- Safeguarding and restoring ancient Tulu stone inscriptions and manuscripts.
- Digitizing inscriptions using advanced 3D scanning techniques for future generations.
Research and Education
- Supporting research initiatives and academic studies on Tulu heritage.
- Providing resources and materials to scholars and students to further their understanding of Tulunadu’s history and contributions.
