About Us

Namma Tulunadu Trust (R) is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to preserving, promoting, and enriching the Tulu language, script, culture, and heritage of Coastal Karnataka. Established in 2010 as "Tulunadu Samskrithi Vedike Trust (R)" and restructured in 2013 as "Namma Tulunadu Trust (R)," our trust actively works to revive, document, and protect the unique identity of Tulu Nadu for future generations.

Tulu is one of the earliest independent languages to evolve from Proto-Dravidian, and it has its own script. With approximately 2.5 crore people worldwide using Tulu as their spoken language, our trust strives to revive and promote its script, literature, and traditions. Our efforts include advocating for the official recognition of Tulu, educating people about the Tulu script, and documenting historical, cultural, and linguistic contributions of Coastal Karnataka. Through publications, video documentation, workshops, and digital initiatives, we ensure that Tulu’s legacy continues to thrive.
